Our Lambs are raised on green lush pastures where they can run and leap and eat to their hearts content; with their moms close at hand. Our sheep follow the cows around and do as they will. We bring them into the fold at night (Or they would be coyote bait) and let them out again in the morning. In my opinion pasture raised Lamb is leaner, tender and more flavorful. We raise St. Croix Sheep They are very quiet, friendly, and flock together. They also possess some degree of parasite and disease resisitance, which is great for raising them naturally. This breed are excellent foragers, which make them great for grass finished animals. |
